FAQ's

  • Where do I start?
If you’re looking to update a room in your home but unsure where to start, begin by visiting our store to touch and feel the textiles. Whilst you're there we will run you through a series of questions with you to better understand what you are looking for such as the room you are wanting to update, the style you are hoping to achieve and of course, your budget. Once we have this discussion we then present you with the products we think are perfectly suited to your needs.
  • How does pricing work?
Pricing provided on all flooring is indicative and should only be used as a guide. Pricing provided for your space is calculated after our estimator has spent time measuring your areas and based on your chosen carpet.
  • Flooring measurements explained...
Carpet is measured in the old metric of Linear or ‘Broadloom’ metres – rather than square metres. A broadloom refers to the width of the loom which in most cases is 3.66 metres. In order to use a comparison to hard flooring which is sold in cartons and measured in square metres, carpet can be converted into square meters.
  • What's Involved in a FREE Measure & Quote?
A Kelly’s Carpet’s consultant will visit your home and undertake a FREE measure for the areas where flooring are required. It is essential that a professional consultant undertakes measuring to ensure accuracy.
  • Should I visit a store first?
Whilst our website offers a great overview of flooring options, visiting your local store is worthwhile. Being able to feel the texture of the carpets and the grains of hard flooring, using your senses in-store will really help you along the way. It is also a perfect opportunity to select some samples to take home so that you can get a feel for what the carpet or flooring will look like in your home.
